I recently bought a really cheap Chinese laser cutter from China. I would suspect at least some movement or audible noise if the stepper config was incorrect. Just cutting a vector graphic from a decent graphics suite or CAD-package is reasonably simple:. It seems to do large stamps fine -Font mill although I need to do about 8 passes with power machine nob to full. With Moshidraw and Moshilaser software it is inevitable that you will loose your sanity. I found my own solution as described in my previous post, but Mike Esdaile may have found the easier and less expensive way.

Now I've purchased a similar 40W laser machine at a yard sale.
I will moxhidraw my findings after actually using it for a while. Most of the stuff he does is cutting 3mm acrylic though and with the air assist it does a great job on both. This — it seems — is impossible. I hope this will be useful for some lost soul sometimes. The reason for this weird workflow? Code relies heavily on the following arduino sketches: Mozhidraw downloaded moshidraw and when i try it open the program i get the message "insert softkey!
The end result apart from a ton of views on Youtube was to get hired as a consultant 20111 Little Boots — creating a laser harp for her US tour. And not yet available, even in the US.

I am also stuck trying to figure out the machine configuration for Moshidraw I promptly opened one and found everything inside very well packaged and in good condition. Uys Fick January 20, The closest I could get is making two separate files and first engrave, then cut. Most of my parts came from here. Please let me know which board it is. This is where the frustration started… MoshiLaserSetup trips my antivirus so I have not done any testing with that — yet.
But I keep being interested in some rewrite of the TinyG code for laser! I purchased a 40W chinese laser engraving machine to make rubber stamps. Not sure on the power requirements but w sounds pretty light for it. Make sure that the stuff you want to engrave has a solid black fill. I can now adjust joshidraw temperature of my home about half an hour before I get home! Here is a nice tutorial about that. Adjust parameters as needed.
This machine also runs on MoshiDraw software and it is working fine. I will post more about that process koshidraw. And our chiller manage the temperature control.
