When I installed the second, the first one was removed from Mapsource same product code I guess. The tile that is not being shown You can select a homemade typefile or from internet and then the graphic will change like typfile is made. I can see all the roads in the Ottawa area on openstreetmaps. Is there data available on the map on this site for the area that you're interested in? With PC basemap "find places" is OK but of course that is not routable.

On the Select tiles page of the web site that tile should also have a corner of Spain - right? I guess you did nothing wrong here.

I'm probably being another numpty here! I haven't come across any other bad tiles so far I expect the software to become better at it in time but it requires more knowledge of the Garmin image format. But Mapsource is okay only for Streetmap. That's what I'm working at currently. I even managed to use the routing feature on a trial route between 2 waypoints I created.
Also you can change the name of existing mapset's and the 'Drawpriority'. The principal roads may dissapear partially and disappear completely with the next step 5 km The roads of the basemap remain visible.
The version on the 60csx I combined with a typfile as provided for the complete Germany routable map of OSM. ID-number is always automatically created in a saver way. BUT the problem is that not all the area is shown in this version.
You are not logged in. Sholuld have been openstreetmap. Be patient though, it's impacting everything ofcourse so it requires some time. The limitations of the Demoversion are: When zooming out beyond a scale of 3 km the OSM-roads disappear.
The reason why I don't use cgpsmapper is that it is a commercial application and I like to promote OS tools and drive their development by increasing the userbase. After a bit of searching, you can find maps of the United States and countries in Western Europe. I don't know why it should in the background create something readable for just a corner of UK. I am just thinking out loud. It contains product reviews, comparative tests, articles about specific laws etc.

In the Consumentengids of May I found a letter to the editor translated: Your OSM map is most likely generated using cgpsmapper while my routable maps are generated using Mkgmap.

I am not sure how your scripting works, and my coding days are rather far behind me, but perhaps you could set up a page where the user could check off a number of command line options that would then be passed through when building with mkgmap.
Is there data available on the map on this site for the imgg2ms that you're interested in? Should I do this in small bites or would you prefer I shove off from your server entirely?
